my day kite surfing
Sorry I haven’t written in a long time but we have been very busy. But you probably read mom and Miranda’s blog so I don’t think I need to repeat them, so I will write about something they haven’t. Today we woke up and went for breakfast. I had a banana pancake and chocolate milk. After that we walked for 45 minuets to get to the other beach. It was a long walk on extremely hot sidewalks. Once we got there we saw lots of kite surfing classes . I really wanted to try and near noon I got to take a 10 dollar class. It was a lot of fun but harder than I thought. After the wind died down it wasn’t good so we went shopping and got some cool stuff. Finally we went to our hotel and swam for a long time and now are going to eat dinner, bye.

Veitnam Ch Chi tunnels
yesterday we went on this tour to a factory kind of like OTC. it was a place were disabled people from the veitnamese war can work and make a living. all the art work that they did was amazing, and it was all hand painted. we really wanted to get some stuff but we couldnt get it home.
this is my favoret plate. they make lots of plates that are very cool. i like this one because it has the same kind of tour boat that we might go on.
on the tour we also went to a temple. I can't remember the name of the religion but it was interesting. the tour guide said it was a combination of christian catholic buhdist and hindu.
after some time on the bus we finaly got to the tunnels. the tunnels were dug by the VC (viet cong) in the veitnam war. the tunnels go all over. in this pic you can see the secret entrance
there it is. did you find it? thats how the VC always seamed to disapear. he said that they could get down and close it is 4 seconds. when you go down you could crawl out a differnt entrance.this is the way out of the one I went down in.
the VC would set traps to kill them and then take the US soldier's guns and weapons. these are some explosives from bombs that didn;t explode.
at the end of the tour me and my dad both got to shoot an AK-47. it was so cool! |I hit the target evry time at 100 yards.Tuesday, June 1, 2010
jungle trekking
this is a pic. of the hill side on the way tho our hotel. there was row after row of tea and strawberries.
this was our driver on this tour we went on to see the worlds second biggest flower and the this aboriginal village. it was a lot of fun because i got to try to shoot a blow gun. surprisingly i almost hit the bulls eye on my first try.
this is part of the road up to the flower. it was one of the better parts.
that is a bridge we had to walk across to get to the flower.
here is a bug we found along the way.
we had to cross a river half way there. it was freezing cold.
most flowers smell good but not this one. one way to describe the smell would to say it smells like a public toilet out side a Mexican restaurant.like i said before i got to try the blow gun and i almost hit the bulls eye.

Malaysia travel
May 25
The day before yesterday we got on this train from Johor Bahru to Tanah merah. It was an overnight train that left at 7 pm and arrived at 8 am. So we got on and we had all top bunks. We really wanted bottom ones so we could sit down and every thing because you can’t in the top ones. So we climbed in our little bunks and tried to sleep. I don’t remember much of the ride because I was sleeping, all I know is that it was very rickety. Yesterday we arrived in Tanah merah. It was a very small little town and the first thing we noticed was the market. But we couldn’t stop then, we had to get to the ferry. Once we got the tickets we went to the market and got 3 pineapple 2 watermelon and 2 pounds of water apple. I really liked the water apple. once we got to the island we got a room and went to the water. As soon as I stepped in I was disappointed. The water was about 40c. So we spent lots of time just on the beach. for dinner we had pizza and pasta. It was very good.
Today we went out to this deserted island. There I made a bamboo spear and I almost got a mullet with it. I also tried to get a parrot fish but it was to fast. when we got back we went swimming and ate lunch then we went swimming a bit more and soon we will eat dinner. So I have to go.
p.s. I want to know who’s all reading this so please leave a comment. And if you can’t figure out how then that’s pretty sad.

Singapore Chinatown
Yesterday we took a bus to china town. The first thing I noticed there was the smell. It smelt horrible from all the little shoppes and the gross food they were selling. One place had dried lizards. We also saw lots of temples and mosques. Part of the time we were looking for this building that looks like it has a huge boat on it. For lunch we ate at this food Court. I had some spicy won ton soup and a strawberry banana smoothy. It was very good.We went to see this big Farris wheel but it was to far away so we didn't. I really wanted to go on it because it is so big and you can hardly see the spokes because they are so small. So hopefully we can do that yet. Well we haven't dune much more than that that so bye.

living with Tumar
two days ago we arrived in Darwin. it hasn't been my favorite place so for... archly it is my least favourite because the city is very dirty, the people aren't that friendly, we are staying in a nice house by ourselves because the man who owns it is camping and then there's Tumar. Tumar is a dog who's real name is spike. he is 15 years old and has a tumor the size of your fist. the tumor is always pussing and bleeding all over the house and deck, it is disgusting. Tumar has to take 1or 2 pills in the morning and 2 pills in the evening. he has to eat this gross wet dog food witch we haven't been giving him because it smells and looks so bad. instead we are making him good food. Right now mom is making him scrambled eggs and toast.
yesterday we went to town and walked around looking at all the shops, it was a lot of fun. While we were walking we came across a little store were they had lots of didgeridoos.we all got to try to play them and I was the best. I wanted to get one but the good ones were 700 dollars or more. well that's all for now, bye.
