I went diving to find paua (abalone) today. We had to go at low tide and dive for them. You have to take a hard plastic knife to pry them off of the rocks. They look like half a clam and they are stuck to the rocks. You have to use a plastic knife so you don't Hurt them in case they are to small and you have to put them back. For supper we had fresh paua 3 different ways. One way Nelson cooked it was to grind it up and mix it with onions and a few other secret ingredients. The other ways were fried with shrimp and parsley and garlic or just fried in steaks. The way I liked it best was fried with onions and parsley.
We also caught mussels which we had for supper.
We met a guy that just came back from fishing and he gave us some of his blue cod. His name is Nigel.
Dad also met a guy on the beach who will take us salmon fishing tomorrow.
So far i'm not sick of traveling yet.
